Douglas Koch, MD, and Warren Hill, MD, working with Li Wang, MD and Jianzhong Ma have developed a Post-LASIK IOL Calculation tool for myopic patients which is now available on the ASCRS website at www.ascrs.org.

All ophthalmologists can access to the calculator program which enables them to effectively determine IOL power calculations for their post-LASIK myopic patients.
 
Dr. Hill solicited the help of a recognized group of IOL power calculation experts to validate and test the calculator before making it available. As new methodologies are established they can be included in the formula enabling the calculation tool to remain current and in step with the literature.

The development team is currently testing hyperopic and RK versions of the IOL Calculator program with plans to make them available through the ASCRS website shortly.
